The Save Darfur Coalition asked all the presidential candidates to submit videos of themselves talking about their views and positions on the genocide in Darfur. In the coming days, we'll bring you the footage from each candidate who has responded.
Senator Barack Obama is the first one up. In his video he voices a strong desire to resolve the Darfur crisis, starting by saying "The United States has a moral obligation." He also says that the United States should support the UN mission and follow through on oil sanctions. Click on "Read More" to watch the whole video.
You can find more on Senator Obama's position on Darfur on his candidate profile. Later in the week we'll be featuring videos from John McCain, Hillary Clinton, Bill Richardson, and John Edwards, so stay tuned. In the meantime you can view them all here.
