There is no doubt about it, there has not been enough focus on Darfur in the presidential debates. How are we supposed to know the candidates' position on Darfur if they are not asked about it during debates?

Make the candidates debate Darfur.

Send a message to the organizers of the upcoming debates and request they ask a question about Darfur. For example, you could tell the candidates that you are concerned that the United Nations/Africa Union peacekeeping mission is being undermined by a lack of support from the international community and it desperately needs helicopters; ask them what they would do to solve this problem.
